  • In order to free up time to refocus my attentions back to design, I decided to sell out the retail portion of creativefaithplace.com. Store traffic is being routed to a wonderful (and larger) Christian company - DaySpring.com. They are starting to carry many products from my line and I am working with them on creative - developing new products. They have been a delight to work with and I encourage you to visit them for their great selection of Christian products!

  • National Television Appearance:
Here's a photo of me with Jenni Borsellino, co-host of FamilyNet's At Home-Live! I was invited to demonstrate a number of Christian craft and gift ideas from my book Inspirational Home on November 4, 2005. (I was on the same day as noted Christian author Dee Brestin, which was an added treat!)

  • Inspirational Home: simple ideas for uplifting decor and craft – my first book – is published and available nationwide. This book brought the initial vision I had for www.creativefaithplace.com to fruition. In addition to purchasing Inspirational Home at www.dayspring.com, it is also available at Mardel Christian and Educational Supply retail store locations; at Amazon.com; or by calling 920-850-1022. ISBN #0-977-29830-2.

  • I was a guest speaker at MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) in central Wisconsin in December 2005. I presented "Your Home Tells Your Story." The craft that month was a decoupage holiday plate, taken from the book Inspirational Home. The group used holiday patterned tissue and wrapping paper, along with printed scriptures to decorate clear glass plates.

  • In February, I was invited to share at a breakout session of a women's retreat.
  • My web site www.creativefaithplace.com went live in late 2002. This resource was created to provide unique, stylish Christian gifts, home decor and decorating ideas. Creative Faith Place began with a book idea that would encourage fellow Christians to embellish their home and gift giving with reflections of their faith. That planning phase revealed a consumer interest not only in ideas, but also in purchasable items. The result — an online store and idea showplace.

  • www.creativefaithplace.com inspires Christians to use God’s word in unique, visual ways. Its boutique style fills a need for top quality inspirational gifts and home accents, offering products not typically available in traditional Christian bookstores. A majority are original designs, which were also sold wholesale to dozens of “brick and mortar” retail stores nationwide.

  • Both Inspirational Home and the web site overflow with Christian-themed craft and design ideas the reader can make for herself or a loved one. The goal behind the Creative Ideas section — to offer ways for Christians to infuse their home and celebrations with faith expressions — will now be continued in my blog. I hope you'll check it out!
