Last week we had the wonderful opportunity to
hike The Narrows at
Zion National Park with several friends. It was
AMAZING!!! We walked through one of God's
masterpieces! We were dropped off in the middle of nowhere at dawn on one of the rivers that flows into and formed Zion. We started in the
back country here ...

and following the river, our surroundings became less green and more rocky, as we entered this incredible
slot canyon of enormous scale ...

we saw
fossils underfoot ...
natural arches and spectacular rock formations ...

experienced the feeling of
"it's like walking on wet bowling balls" ...

dipped in gorgeous and chilly
waterfalls:

criss-crossed gentle
rapids ...
saw wildlife ...

wondered if the end was around
this corner? ... :-)

and, finally ... 11 hours later ... saw the
light at the end of the tunnel!
What a day! I encourage you to find someplace God-inspiring this summer!!

Amazing! Only the creative power of the Almighty! You must have ooo-ed and ahh-ed the whole day.
WOW - thanks for sharing your hike. The pictures are great and I can only imagine how much more grand it must have looked like in person!
