We had our first Christmas dinner party this weekend and it made me get on the ball with some of my holiday traditions. Like my Christmas favors:
I like to fill a little bowl with chocolate favors, keep it by the front door, then share them with all those coming by during the holidays: dinner guests, carolers, UPS guy, babysitters, etc. Here's my foyer table right now: (Note my adorable little birdie tassel from The Nester.) Anyway, I usually typed out little tags with Bible verses telling part of the Christmas story, BUT DaySpring just made it easier for me this year:
They make this "Jesus is the Gift" ribbon. I simply cut it apart and used it to tie each little chocolate wrapped in tulle. Here's an example of how I did them a couple years ago with Scripture message tags.Be sure and share your pictures if you do this idea!! Thanks!!

Thanks so much!!
I love the idea. I don't get any visitors usually. But I could do some just in case. If I do I hope I don't eat them all. Heehee. I love the table set up in the foyer too. So pretty!
This a great idea, I love the idea of reminding my guests that Jesus is the reason for the season! Please stop by www.raspberrylemonadeandmore.blogspot.com we have a giveaway, we are looking for a favorite peanut butter sandwich!
The chocolate by the door is a very nice gesture - like at Halloween, but without the fuss and the scary bits=)
You have a beautiful house. I am going to do this idea. Thank you so much! You are such a blessing to me.
We do not get much visitors so GOD gave me an idea for the community. I posted a link to this post in my blog, btw. If you don't mind.
I just want to let you know that you are making a positive difference in our creative world. Thank GOD for your beautiful soul, Jeanne.
GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! P.U.S.H.
