Here's what my hubby will be getting for Valentine's Day:It's a little pyramid box with our wedding vows written across all three sides. Tucked inside is a token gift ... because I already got him something else. It's really easy to create: I found a "tetrahedron" template on this website and cut one out on regular paper to cut and fold as a practice. I printed our vows, layed out in three triangles. You can type yours or write by hand, just measure so they fit within the panels of your pyramid.
Begin folding your tetrahedron after you've cut out the template on your nice paper.
Then cut out your three triangles with your vows and glue onto each side. I layered my red triangles on a sheet of white and cut each with decorative edge scissors. Add ribbon embellishments - I used tape for my two. Tuck in some treats and perhaps a personal coupon! :-) Fold up each side, inserting the glued tabs to secure it.
To see another version of sharing your wedding vows I did years and years ago ... but just blogged about last Feb., see this Valentine post.

Wonderful!!! He is a lucky guy!!!
What a great idea! I may just try this one out. What I usually do is find a photo of Greg and me from when we first met and do a Shutterfly card. This way I can write whatever I like inside. But I think this might also be a good one too. Thanks for the idea.
oooh i love it! and i love that you can put your own treasure inside! i'm definitely going to make one!
So sweet, I would like to make some for my best girly friends!
Love them...

Neat idea. I'm going to have fun with this one! As always, love all your clever ideas that you share with us.
I may even do these up for the grand kids and come up with some kind of cute poem for them. Thanks Jeanne!

Love it!
Either your husband doesn't read your blog, or he is a good faker and acts surprised on Valentine's day when he gets this.
Which is it?
Thanks for inspiring!
Aww that is SO sweet! What a thoughtful idea, I just love it. I'll be linking.
Great idea. I think I'll try this one!
Apparently someone [anonymous, of course] feels sorry for my husband to receive this from me.
I think the goal of anyone celebrating this holiday with their spouse is to do something the spouse will appreciate. In my case, I bought my husband a gift, [as I mentioned in my post] something I know he LOVES. Additionally, I decided to be a little creative with a card. I made it 3D and used our wedding vows to show him my commitment to him is lifelong, regardless of society's temporary concept of marriage. I filled the card/box with dark chocolates that I know he LOVES. AND I added a special coupon of something private, that I also happen to know he LOVES.
This box is not meant to go on his desk at work. It's an exercise in renewing my vows. If he throws it away in a minute I don't care. I am SURE he will not throw away the gift, chocolates or coupon! :-)
If your husband wouldn't like this idea, I have one suggestion: Do something else!
:-)
Why are some people so mean? Fortunately the "Anonymouses" of the world are in the minority. Keep up the good work Jeanne!
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen! So inventive, I never even thought of using wedding vows.....Thanks!
Such an adorable idea...would make a great teacher or classmate gift, too! Thank you for sharing it with us.
i actually used this idea for my husband this year. i didn't do the "vows" on the outside, but chose other special quotes. i thought it was precious and i figured his reaction would be "typical" male...but he will NOT let me throw it away!(i think he's just trying to make me feel good!!) he has it sitting on his valet! he says that it's special to him! thanks so much for the idea! i love your blog!
Terah - that's so great! send a picture! I'm hoping to do a follow-up post someday with everyone's projects!
I just recently did this project for my boyfriend's birthday and put a picture of it on my blog (with a link back to you, of course!) Thanks for the idea.
