Decorating with the Fall Harvest
We love to take walks, especially in the fall, when the air is a little crisp and the leaves are crunchy underfoot. We often join the squirrels in their autumn gathering, as we collect treasures along the way. It's fun to decorate with leaves, pinecones and acorns, etc. Last year we came upon a bounty of gorgeous nuts:Horse chestnuts! They are in such dark, rich brown tones and have a waxy sheen. We filled the stroller bottom and after returning home I just had to find places for all of them! Here was one little spot I tucked them into. I also added the word "joy" to the front center one, using a paint pen. I've got lots more "natural" decor fall ideas coming soon! Photo of nuts from Wikipedia.

You are so imaginative! I love your ideas. I have about a bazillion acorn-looking things in my yard from the neighbor's trees. Maybe I'll have to do something with them!
Your journal is very lovely indeed.
Blessings~
That looks great!
